Materials For Creating a Graphic Novel
A graphic novel is a long narrative, in a comic-strip format. It can either be fictional or non-fictional.
After deciding what your graphic novel will be about and writing a script for it, you will need:
Mechanical pencils, for writing dialogue and creating illustrations.
Plain white paper, or paper from a sketchbook or a blank comic book.
A beveled ruler, for creating panels (if you choose not to use a blank comic book) and for drawing.
A pen, for creating panels.
A pen, with a fine tip, to ink illustrations.
A kneaded eraser, to use after ink dries, to get rid of pencil lines.
A scanner, that is compatible with your computer, to go over the pages of your graphic novel.
Image-editing software, such as Photoshop, to make alterations to your work.
