How to Prepare for National Novel Writing Month

National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is an annual, writing project, in which writers attempt to compose 50,000 word manuscripts, during the month of November.

Although writing a novel, within a month, seems like a daunting task, it does not have to be.

Here is a time frame, along with links to help prepare for National Novel Writing Month:

November 1st - November 5th: Brainstorm novel ideas. This can be done, using Free Writing https://www.knatia.com/blog/2017/7/26/exploratory-writing-techniques-series-part-1-free-writing

November 6th: Select a novel idea.

November 7th - November 12th: Write an outline https://www.knatia.com/blog/2017/8/23/exploratory-writing-techniques-series-part-5-outlining

November 13th - November 20th: Write the first draft.

November 21st - November 26th: Revise the first draft.

November 27th - November 30th: Make final changes.

Next week, I will be blogging about books news, regarding Createspace.
